We visited the Internet World exhibition today at Earl’s Court in London today. You’ll see Pippa, our current placement, studying interactive design and Andrew Lalchan, from Chaplin Multimedia who builds and maintains the databases for our online shops and content management systems. 

The big news (according the the presentations that we went to) is social networking sites ie Facebook, Twitter etc. The idea is that it allows customers and potential customers to interact with the company whose services or product they’re thinking about using.

PS: the train from Watford to the Internet World show today, the train goes through to Brighton — we did think about missing our on the show and going to the seaside instead!
